Sevillanas [135 bpm] The tempo in this metronome is about the speed at which many dancers comfortably perform. Solo work may go faster (cf. Paco de Lucia)--or slower (cf. some excellent Sevillanas playing by Pedro Soler)--but this is a good target speed for accompaniement. This metronome, as with the Sevillanas metronome at 120 BPM, will help you get a feel for Sevillanas's particular rhythm and song structure. For more information on structure and for more detail on Sevillanas as dance accompaniment, see the RF article "Dance Accompaniment: Sevillanas."
